Welcome to Folk Fest!
We welcome you to 3 days, 2 nights of mud, sweat, free food, hammocks, creek swimming, hula-hoop dancing, volunteer shifts till 2 am (busting those with out wristbands), Potty Queen porta-potties, random screaming, zombie walks, dipping arms in boots filled with cold water, friendly folk, cut heels, mamas shaking their hips, Marissa Nadler, cardboard harps, high-five wristband checks, heavenly air-conditioned bathroom, synthetic hippies, real hippies, crocheted tree cosies, & more mud mud mud!
I met a friend one night shift. We talked for literally 4 hours and she gave me a necklace with a piece of unidentified dried sea weed attched ( i thought it was bone). Her name is Fiona:
