hey Sasha! yes, I'm from Milan. That's cool that you are coming to Rome, you will love it! Italy in general is actually quite beautiful to visit, so if you have the chance to travel you should surely visit all the main cities like Venice, Florence, Bologna, Naples..and then Milan, of course! If you like design you could come during Design Week (it's an amazing event in milan) or also during Fashion Week, in that period you have a lot of parties going on everywhere (but the city is also very very busy so sometimes it is hard to find an accomodation if you don't book early). And in Venice you cannot miss Biennale dell'Arte, the contemporary art fair...so cool! Como Lake is also quite a magic place... actually it's so many nice places that it's hard to make a list :) I'm not in Italy at the moment (I'm in LA), I will be back there in February and if you come to Milan I will be happy to show you around...
