I crawled straight into bed without flicking the lamp on, in fear that the light would bring me back to an unwanted feeling. This morning I woke feeling spread out, my knuckles unlocked and hair knotted. It's a bit overcast outside, but I still see the sun, and I feel good.
Anyone know where a girl can find a good junkyard?

Not exactly a junkyard per se, but underneath the Ben Franklin bridge is pretty interesting. Around Third, between Vine and New, there's an entrance point that is open a lot. Sometimes you have to scale the fence, though. It's not too high. You can check the other fences, from Front to about Fifth, where the bridge ends.
Lots of trash and discarded metal, broken construction equipment and worn, warped signs. A lot of beer cans and cigarette butts, but sometimes something interesting, like a child's toy or a shell casing. The graffiti is pretty nice in some sections, too, from basic tagging to whole political manifestos in Sharpie marker. You just don't want to get caught. I think it's a misdemeanor, if you're in there without permission. Try weekend mornings.
I don't recommend the Jersey side of the bridge. It's in Camden, for starters. It's also cleaner, believe it or not.
