Around 6AM I awoke from a whiskey/Marquis de Sade/Carl Jung induced
dream. It was one of the more entertaining dreams I've had in a while.
In an airport I guided myself through poor children with venomous
lizards and snakes, who beyond what I deemed to be unfortunate and in a
sense pitied, were in a constant cackle at my body slowly moving over
the reptiles amongst the floor as a bath of humility washed over me. I
found myself in single booth in a long row of booths (as if in a single
stall in a row of bathroom stalls). As my finger slowly turned a dial by
the booth's door, the marker of my conscious/subconscious began to
disintegrate via some sort of radio waves. There was both a heavy
pressure and a serene lightness upon me. In the midst of all this, I
knelt down on the floor and looked through the spaces between the
booths' walls and the ground to see the other participants feet melting
into the concrete floor.

Smile and others will smile back. Smile to show how transparent, how candid you are. Smile if you have nothing to say. Most of all, do not hide the fact you have nothing to say nor your total indifference to others. Let this emptiness, this profound indifference shine out spontaneously in your smile.—Jean Baudrillard

A Statement and an Agenda
A Statement and Agenda-
There are spaces in between the lines and walls of our societal systems and constructs that are damp, crisp, with little sunlight and not many inhabitants. If lucky, sometimes these spaces exist within people too. I am slowly working my way into those spaces, curiously moving in and out with the use of art, or what I like to call “Life Exercises”. An example of this is when I made a sincere promise to never eat meat again after the burial of an art object I created. If you care, the object was a cheap jewelry box with red satin and raw ground hamburger meat inside, with a bronze plaque that read “The cow is my mother.”. Around a year or so after, I created another art video performance where I performed/lived out a list that belonged to Jon E. Doyle of his favorite things. One favorite thing of Jon’s was to eat shrimp, thus I broke my Vegetarian promise.
