I can't sleep, this lingering cold and the excitement of decorating a new bedroom. My throat is either leaking fluid into my right ear or my right ear needs to leak fluid. A baby's cry blends in with the outside birds. Those birds are always so loud at this hour, all of them, chaotic and squalling.
